Van der Horst Biodiesel is a Joint Venture company between Van der Horst Engineering and the Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE), a technological arm of the Nanyang Technological Institute (NTU) of Singapore.

Van der Horst Biodiesel aspire to be the leader in the biodiesel industry to provide sustainable and renewable fuel so as to reduce the dependency on fossil fuel.

Joint Venture with IESE
21st March 2007 - Signing of Joint Venture Agreement with the Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE ) of Nanyang Technological University

Convertible Loan Agreement
2nd April 2007 - Signing of Convertible Loan Agreement with Tembusu Partners Pte Ltd,
First Link Investment Limited and Blue Canyon Pte Ltd (UK) for a total of $3,000,000.

Purchase Agreement with GKE
24th April 2007 - Signing of Sales and Purchase Agreement with GKE International Limited.

Biodiesel Manufacturing License
15^th May 2009 - A Manufacturing License no A017182 was received from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia to produce Biodiesel at Tanjung Langsat Industrial Complex, Johor, Malaysia

Biodiesel off-take Agreement
12^th June 2008 - signing of non-binding Heads of Agreement with Integra Marketing Pte Ltd for the off-take of 80% of the Biodiesel to be produced from Van der Horst Biodiesel's proposed Biodiesel Refinery in Johor for an initial period of 5 years from the commencement of commercial production.
